1/28/81 Same tour, same gig that gave us that spectacular Red Car with Milcho Leviev, David Williams, and Carl Burnett. The lower photo shows Art and Milcho discussing what to do without David, who was abandoning us to go to a recording session in L.A. The discussion is taking place in front of David. (he had warned us this might happen. We brought him with us anyway because we LOVED him.) Carl Burnett in the top picture was always wise enough to avoid anything that might look like an argument. I love his smile in this shot.

This album has a seriously cool groove & vibe. Rudy doesn't as much drive, even though he's up front in the mix, as direct a first class group of musicians down a joyous road. I've listened to this at least 12 times so far, finding something new each time. So Freakin' Worth It!
